Scent Work Group Classes

I offer a variety of scentwork classes appropriate for a variety of skill levels. For more information or to join any of the classes listed below please contact me.

INTRO:

 My Intro class is designed for dogs and handlers who are new to the sport and have very minimal or no experience. This class will teach you and your dog the fundamentals of scentwork in a fun and motivation way! This class is appropriate for dogs 6 months and older. This class is held on Tuesdays from 9am-10am.

BEGINNING:

My Beginning class is designed for dogs with minimal scentwork experience. Dogs in this class should know at least one odor and may still be heavily relying on pairing. The dog should be comfortable in public spaces around common distractions such as people and dogs. This class is held on Thursdays from 11am-12:30pm.

INTERMEDIATE:

My Intermediate class is for dogs who know all three odors (birch, anise, and clove) and are comfortable searching in many environments around common distractions without pairing. Dogs in this class should be training or trialing at an AKC Novice-Advanced level. This class is held on Mondays from 9am-10:30am.

ADVANCED:

My Advanced class is for dogs who are training or trialing at an AKC Excellent or Master level. Dogs and handlers in this class should be comfortable with large search areas, distractions, unknown hide numbers, and blanks. This class is held on Thursdays from 9am-10:30am.
