AVERY LUTTROPP CPDT-KA

I am the owner and trainer behind Sunflower Canine Services. My love for animals began at a young age with horses. As I grew older my passion became rooted in dogs. I began to read research articles, attend online courses, and complete in-person mentorships with well established trainers to absorb as much information as I could.

Through mentorships I gained valuable hands on experience with reactivity and behavioral management cases. I have worked with dogs big and small, young and old, with a variety of issues such as leash pulling, counter surfing, jumping, barking, and more.

Now with the launch of my business, I am committed to serving dog owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, changing their lives and dogs for the better.

In my free time, I compete in Rally, Obedience, Dock Diving, Conformation, Agility, Scentwork, Barn Hunt, and Hunt tests with my dog Jasper.

Avery has also passed the IACP Dog Trainer Foundation Exam.

Jasper is a four year old chocolate Labrador Retriever. He serves as my medical alert dog and frequently demonstrates during lessons. His high level of training makes him the perfect partner when working with shy or overly excitable dogs. He is a joy to train and is truly a wonderful little dog.
